The North of England Horticultural Society are pleased to be sponsors of the Glorious Gardens 2010 competition, run by local newspapers the Harrogate Advertiser, Ripon Gazette, Knaresborough Post, Wetherby News and Nidderdale Herald. Take a photo of your garden to be in with a chance of winning.
There are five categories to choose from: The competition is open to gardeners of every kind and there are prizes worth £250 in each category. The prize giving for the competition will be held at Harrogate Autumn Flower Show, 17-19 September 2010. You can email your photos mailto:ackrill.news@ypn.co.uk or post them to Harrogate Advertiser, Glorious Gardens, 1 Cardale Park, Harrogate HG3 1RZ. Closing date for pictures is Friday 30th July. The Harrogate Spring and Autumn Flower Shows help to raise money for the North of England Horticultural Society (NEHS), profits from the shows help to promote and support horticulture in the North. The NEHS are pleased to be able to support the local community and offer sponsorship of the Nature Garden category in this competition.
