Once again we have the two vegetable championships at the show. The North of England Vegetable Championships, recognisable by the white skirted tables and the Northern Branch Championships of the National Vegetable Society, with the black skirted tables.
Both championships will see perfectly formed vegetables, of all varieties, displayed at their very best for the chance to win the trophy. There are individual classes for tomatoes, cauliflowers, potatoes and beans, to name just a few and classes for different collections. The 2010 National Carrot Championships will be held at the show, sponsored by Keith Foster Exhibition Seeds.
