Our team of experts have a wealth of gardening experience and can steer you in the right direction regardless of whether you want to grow a few salads in a window box, or plant an allotment.
Starting at 11.00am each day the Kitchen Garden Live team will be giving talks and demonstrations on a range of edible crops.

Joe Maiden - A lifetime spent gardening and over 40 years as the gardening expert on BBC Radio Leeds, Joe certainly knows his onions! In fact, what Joe doesn't know about vegetables isn't worth knowing! Joe will be sharing his knowledge of growing with you in his friendly and amusing manner.
Steve Ott - As editor of Kitchen Garden magazine, Steve is up to date with the latest vegetable growing techniques and tries to grow as wide a range of vegetables as possible in his Lincolnshire garden. As a qualified horticulturist, one of Steve's specialist areas is pest and diseases.
Emma Rawlings - Growing salad crops and vegetables in containers has been an interest of Emma's for many years. As deputy editor of Kitchen Garden magazine she is responsible for many of the growing and product trials that are featured each month in the magazine.
Hilary Dodson - Well known fruit growing expert, Hilary is also the chair of the Northern Fruit Group who have a demonstration garen at Harewood House near Leeds. Hilary has a vast knowledge of fruit growing gained from many years of practical experience.
Malcolm and Thomas Dickson - Father and son run Hooksgreen Herbs in Sttaordshire and are regular exhibitors at the Harrogate and other major flower shows around the UK.
Derek Guthrie - the deputy head gardener at the Alnwick Garden and is responsible for the Roots & Shoots gardens where vegetables are grown.
Tom Pattison - a gardening correspondent, a Northumberland in Bloom judge and also a volunteer at Alnwick. Derek and Tom will be talking about productive techniques used in the garden.
