Our 2012 Spring Flower Show photographic competition is being relaunched with a brand new lay-out and a new sponsor.
Gardens and nature have inspired artists and photographers through the ages and we are looking for the prize-winning images that inspire you.
The competition is being sponsored by Harrogate-based Square Studios, who specialise in turning images into stunning works of art. They will be creating beautiful canvas prints of the winning and runner up images, as well as producing a display of entries for visitors to enjoy at the spring show.
The winning photographer will take home a super 20" x 30" canvas of their champion photograph and two runners up will receive a 20" x 16" canvas print of their prize-winning entry.
All entries will receive a 30% off voucher for any printing service at Square Studios.

The winning entries will be announced during the show, on our website and via Facebook and Twitter.
The closing date for entries is Friday 30 March 2012
Conditions of entry:
1. All entires must be in a digital format and sent by email to deb@flowershow.org.uk by 5pm on 30 March 2012.
2. Entries should be in Jpeg format with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi and in a maximum file size of 3mb.
3. All email entries must include full details including name of photographer, postal address, daytime contact telephone number and must clearly state which category the image is being entered under.
3. The images will remain the copyright of the photographer but will be non-returnable.
4. There is a maximum of 4 entries per category, per person.
5. Winners will be notified by email.
Square Studios are based at 2 Princes Square, Harrogate, and have been supplying canvas, photographic and fine art prints to the public and trade since 2003. They specialise in turning images into stunning works of art, including canvas printing, photographic services featuring a range of papers and finishes, and Giclee printing services to scan original artwork and produce a one off piece or hold on file for print on demand.
