Garden Photography Competition - Autumn 2010

We are pleased to announce the return of our photography competition to the Autumn Show. Bring along your photos to the Garden Roadshow marquee during the show for your chance to win. Photographs will be displayed in the Garden Roadshow and judged at the end of the Show. Sponsored by Bulldog Tools.

Category A: Harvest Festival,            
Category B: Scenes from Summer

Winners of each category will receive a limited edition replica Bulldog Giant Spade and runners up will receive tickets to the Spring 2011 Show.

Category A: Vision of Spring

1st Place - Josie Latus, Driffield.

Congratulations to Josie who won a weekend in Northern Ireland with tickets to Garden Show Ireland at Hillsborough Castle. Josie took some beautiful photos at Hillsborough Castle, a photo of the grounds can be seen in our photo gallery, please click here.

Category B: Nature's Beasties

This category is for children, 16 years and under.

Congratulations to Jake Sargent for his entry. Jake wins a family day ticket to Lightwater Valley Theme Park.

          

 
 
Conditions of entry:

Hard-copy photographs printed on photographic paper or laminated. Slides or digital images on CD will not be accepted.
Photographs can be:

  • black & white or colour
  • portrait or landscape
  • A5 (148 x 210mm) min; A4 (210 x 297mm) max

All entries must have the name, address and telephone number clearly printed on the back.

Photographs will remain the copyright of the photographer but will be non-returnable.

All entries must be placed on the display boards in the Garden Roadshow marquee or handed to a member of the Garden Roadshow team; email or postal entries will not be accepted.

Winners will be contacted after the show and results displayed on the website. For full prize details, please contact the show office.
