Encouraging individual pride and community engagement in our everyday surroundings
An established award, aimed at community groups, societies and charitable organisations committed to improving their local landscape through positive, practical action.
Grants of up to £1,500 are available for a range of activities, including restoration of planting beds, improvement of publicly accessible woodland, community gardening schemes and access to horticultural programmes.
Who can apply?
Voluntary or community groups and charities who can demonstrate a clear need for grant funding and are based in any of the following areas: Yorkshire, Lancashire, County Durham, Teesside and former Cleveland areas, Tyne and Wear, Cumbria, Northumberland, Greater Manchester and the North Midlands (north Nottinghamshire, north Derbyshire and north Lincolnshire).
The deadline for applications is 5pm on Thursday 12 July 2018
