Information for disabled visitors

Harrogate Autumn Flower Show at Newby Hall & Gardens will have excellent facilities for disabled visitors. All our marquees will be fully ramped and floored, and much of the show and the gardens will be accessible from hard surfaces.

Carer tickets

We welcome all visitors to the show. For those requiring additional assistance of a carer to visit the event, a complimentary carer ticket is available. These can be obtained in advance, with the purchase of show admission tickets, by calling the show office on 01423 648212 or on the day at a ticket kiosk.

Please note that one example of the following supporting documentation must be presented to gate staff on entry to the show: Personal Independence Payments (PIP’s), Severe Disablement Allowance, Attendance Allowance, War Pensioners’ Mobility Allowance or War or Service Disablement Pension, Blind or partially sighted registration certificate (BD8 or CVI Certificate), or confirmation from Social Services or GP that the person has long term disability (including learning) and requires a full time carer.

The above applies to both carer tickets obtained in advance and those requested at the gate. If this documentation is not provided with advance ticket or at the ticket kiosk, a full priced ticket must be purchased. If required, assistance dogs are welcome.

We have Blue Badge parking close to the main entrance. This is allocated on a first-come first-served basis for registered disabled badge-holders only, Please follow the yellow signs approaching Newby Hall and display your blue badge. Blue badges only give access to the car park and not to the show.
