How to get to the show

Travel by road
On nearing the event, visitors should follow the yellow event signage, rather than maps or SatNav. This signage is designed to direct you to the best entrance and help minimise congestion.
Travelling via the A1(M):
From South: 4 miles off A1(M) from Jct. 48 (signposted)
From North: 4 miles off A1(M) from Jct. 49 (signposted)
Travelling from Harrogate / Ripon: Follow the A61 to Ripon and turn onto the B6265 (Boroughbridge Road).
There is ample free car parking on site. Car parks will open at 8.00am each morning of the show. Designated Blue Badge parking is located close to the main entrance, and is available on first-come first-served basis. Please note that all parking is on level grassed area.
Travel by public transport
The event is located close to the city of Ripon, which is serviced every half hour by the No 36 bus, running directly between Leeds, Harrogate and Ripon. There are also regular buses on the No 22 service from York (please note, the No 22 service does not run on Sunday).
A direct shuttle bus will operate between Ripon bus station and the show approximately every 30 minutes. The fare for the shuttle bus will be £5 single or £6 return, concessions are not valid on this service.
Special Transdev Service - you can purchase a £10 Daytripper ticket from York (No 22) Leeds or Harrogate (No36), which will include the price of the shuttle bus to and from the show.
The closest train station to Newby Hall is Harrogate, accessible from many major national network connections.
Travel by coach or in a group
Coach and minibus parking is available onsite and is free. Please follow yellow event signage on nearing the event. Please note that all parking is on level grassed area.
Travel by bicycle
Newby Hall is located close to the Way of the Roses cycle route, offering a fantastic stop on a coast to coast journey http://wayoftheroses.info/ Cycle racks are available within the event.
