HRH King Charles III
We are honoured to have His Majesty, King Charles III, as the patron of the North of England Horticultural Society—a relationship that has been cultivated since his patronage began in 2010.
King Charles is renowned for his deep interest in horticulture. Over the last 40 years, he has transformed the gardens of his Gloucestershire estate, Highgrove, adhering to organic and sustainable principles that he passionately champions.
His profound knowledge of horticulture and his unwavering passion for gardening are unparalleled. We eagerly anticipate collaborating with him to further enhance the vital role that the NEHS plays in supporting and promoting horticulture in the North.
